CREAMY ENGLISH PEAS

2 tbsp butter
1 medium onion and red bell pepper, chopped
1 cup chopped celery
1 (16 oz) pkg frozen English peas, thawed
1 (8 oz) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup chow mein noodles

Melt butter in a skillet. Add chopped vegetables and sauté until tender. Stir in next 3 ingredients and cook 10 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Sprinkle with noodles. Serves 6
