COLOSSAL COOKIES

1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups each sugar and packed brown sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 (18 oz) jar chunky peanut butter
6 cups quick cooking oats
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 1/2 tsp baking soda

Preheat oven to 350. Cream together first 3 ingredients until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; continue beating until creamy.
Reduce speed and add dry ingredients. Beat until well mix. Measure 1/4 cup dough and place 4 inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with fork to 2 1/2 inch diameter. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet before remove to wire racks to cool completely.
