1 1/2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
6 tbsp salted butter, softened
1 tsp hot sauce and garlic powder
1 cup flour
1/4 cup poppy seeds or toasted sesame seeds

Preheat oven to 400. Coat baking sheet with cooking spray. In a food processor, combine first 4 ingredients. Add flour and process until mixture forms ball. Divide dough in half.

Shape into 2 logs, each about 1 1/4 inch in diameter. Roll logs in poppy seeds or toasted sesame seeds to coat. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Cut logs crosswise into 1/4 inch thick slices. Place on prepared baking sheet, pressing ridges pattern in top of each with tines of fork. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden. Transfer to wire rack to cool.
