CRAB MOLD

Category: Spreads -- Cold

1 can cream of shrimp soup, undiluted
2 (3 oz) pkg cream cheese
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
1 cup mayonnaise
2 pkg unflavored gelatin
1 cup cold water
1 can crabmeat, drained & flaked
1 cup celery, finely chopped

In saucepan, combine soup, cheese and onion. Heat until cheese is melted, stirring constantly. Blend in mayonnaise and remove from heat.

In separate pan, sprinkle gelatin over the water. On low heat, stir until gelatin dissolves. Then stir this into the soup mixture. Add the crab and celery. Pour into a 6 cup mold and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, until firm.
