MEXICAN SPAGHETTI

1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 medium bell pepper, chopped
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
2 cans water
Jalapeno pepper, chopped fine (optional)
1 pkg taco seasoning mix
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
8 oz spaghetti

Cook first 3 ingredients in a skillet until brown; drain. Add next 4 ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer on low for 5-7 minutes. Add spaghetti, depending on thickness, cover and bring to a boil until spaghetti is done, about 15-20
