SAVORY PARTY BREAD

1 (1 lb) round sour dough bread loaf, unsliced
1 lb shredded Monterey jack cheese
1/2 cup melted butter and chopped green onions
2 tsp poppy seeds

Cut bread several times lengthwise and crosswise, making a grid-like patter, without cutting through the bottom crust. Insert cheese between cuts.

Combine remaining ingredients; drizzle over bread. Wrap in foil and place on a baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serves 8
