Shelly's Recipe

* CHOCOLATE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES*

2 1/4 cups flour
1/3 cup cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar and brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts, optional

Preheat oven to 375. Combine dry ingredients; set aside. Cream butter, sugars and vanilla extract. Add eggs; beat well. Gradually add flour mixture, beating well. Stir in chips and nuts.

Drop by rounded tsp onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack to cool completely.
