1 1/2 cup tomato ketchup
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar and red wine vinegar
2 tbsp Dijon-style mustard and Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp liquid smoke flavoring
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper and garlic powder
1 (3 to 4 lb.) boneless chuck roast

In a large bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and liquid smoke; stir in salt, pepper and garlic powder. Place chuck roast in crock pot. Pour ketchup mixture over roast.

Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours. Remove roast from crock pot, shred with a fork and return to crock pot; stir meat to evenly coat with sauce. Continue cooking approximately 1 hour. Serves 12
