BROWNIE TORTE WITH CHOCOLATE GLAZE

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup flour
1 cup chopped nu8ts

Butter and flour a 9 inch square baking pan.

In a saucepan, heat butter and corn syrup until butter is melted. Add chocolate chips and stir until melted. Remove from heat and add sugar and eggs. Stir until well blended. Stir in vanilla extract, flour and nuts. Pour batter into pan. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Turn out of pan onto a rack.

Frost top and sides with chocolate glaze. Chill until set.

Garnish with sliced strawberries. Cut into wedges and serve with whipped cream.

Glaze:
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp corn stryp
1 tsp vanilla extract

Heat ingredients on low; stirring constantly. Add vanillad. Cool and frost torte.
