TAMALE AND CHEESE CASSEROLE - Easy

1 lb ground beef
1 (1.25) oz chili seasoning
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
1 (14 oz) can kidney beans
1 (8 oz) corn muffin mix
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Brown ground beef; drain fat. Stir in seasoning, tomato sauce, and beans; pour into 2 quart casserole.

Prepare muffin mix according to pkg directions. Spread muffin batter over chili mixture. Bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes or until center is firm. Top with cheese; bake 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
