1/2 cup chopped onion
2 tbsp butter
1 cup chili sauce
1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1/8 tsp pepper
1 tsp chili powder
1 pkg hot dogs, cut into 1/4 inch slices
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 350. Cook onions in butter and add remaining ingredients except cheese. Simmer about 10 minutes. Pour into a greased casserole dish and top with cheese. Bake until bubbly and cheese melts.
