JUMBO CHOCOLATE CHUNK COOKIES

2 1/4 cups flour
1/2 cup Dutch-processed cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
3/4 cup sugar and brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 bag chocolate chunks
1 1/2 cups walnuts, coarsely chopped

Heat oven to 375. Sift together dry ingredients and set aside. Beat the butter until creamy and add sugars; beat until fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, and beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. On low speed, beat in dry ingredients until well blended. Stir in chocolate and nuts.

For each, drop by heaping tbsp onto ungreased baking sheet spacing about 2 inch apart. Bake the cookies until lightly golden, about 9-11 minutes. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet on a wire rack for 2 minutes; let cool.
