COTTAGE PIE

2 lbs potatoes
3 tbsp milk
1-2 tbsp butter
1 large onion, chopped
1 lb ground beef
2 tbsp minced parsley
Pinch nutmeg
Salt and pepper, to taste

Boil the potatoes, drain and mash with milk, butter and seasoning. Brown beef, set aside and fry onions in a bit of drippings left over from meat. Mix onions and seasonings with meat and put into a casserole. Cover with mashed potatoes and bake 25-30 minutes at 375 until top is crisp and brown.
