1 tbsp butter
1/3 cup chopped onion
1 lb ground chuck
1/2 lb American process cheese, cubed
1 8 oz pkg elbow macaroni, cooked al dente
1 tbsp mustard
1 pkg frozen com
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 can condensed tomato soup

Melt the butter in a skillet, add the onion and cook until transparent. Then add the meat and continue to cook until it loses its reddish color. Set aside to cool.

Mix the cheese, macaroni, mustard, com, salt, pepper and tomato soup. Stir in the mixture of meat and onion. Place in a 1 1/2 quart buttered casserole and bake at 350 for 1 hour. Serve piping hot.
