* SHRIMP AND SAUSAGE CREOLE*

2 tbsp butter
2 celery stalks, chopped
1 medium yellow bell pepper, chopped
1 large yellow onion, chopped
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
3/4 lb kielbasa sausage, sliced
1 garlic clove, minced
1 1/2 cup clam juice
1 cup Newmans Own Bombolina Spaghetti Sauce
1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and rinsed
3 cup shot cooked rice
Spice mixture
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp salt, dried basil and thyme leaves and white pepper
1/4 tsp black and cayenne peppers
Saute chopped vegetables, kielbasa and garlic. Add spice mixture, clam juice and spaghetti sauce. Simmer, covered 5 minutes. Add shrimp and cook 2-3 minutes longer, until shrimp turn opaque throughout. Discard bay leaf. Serve over rice in large shallow soup bowl. Serves 6
Note: For just Shrimp Creole, leave out sausage and use 3 lb shrimp
