DOUBLE DECADENT BROWNIE TORTE WITH CHOCOLATE GLAZE

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup flour
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
Chocolate Glaze
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp corn syrup
1 tsp vanilla
Butter and flour a 9 inch round cake pan. In a sauce pan, heat butter and corn syrup until butter is melted. Add chocolate chips and stir until melted. Remove from heat. Add sugar and eggs. Stir until well blended. Stir in vanilla, flour, and nuts. Pour batter into pan.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes, until center springs back when touched. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Turn out of pan onto rack. Frost top and sides with Chocolate Glaze. Chill until set. Garnish with sliced strawberries. Cut into wedges and serve with whipped cream
Chocolate Glaze: Combine chocolate chips, butter, and corn syrup in saucepan. Stir over low heat until chocolate is melted. Remove form heat and add vanilla. Frost top and sides of torte.
