CANDY BAR BROWNIES III

1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup firmly packed brown and granulated sugars
2 eggs
2 squares (2 ounces) unsweetened chocolate
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup flour
1/8 tsp baking powder and kosher salt
2 (5 oz) Hershey Bars With Almonds
Preheat oven to 350. Spray an 8 inch square cake pan with non-stick cooking spray.
Melt the butter with the chocolate. Let chocolate and butter mixture cool.
Place both sugars, the flour, the baking powder and salt in a food processor and let it spin a few times. Add the two eggs and the vanilla, mix well. Add the cooled butter and chocolate mixture and mix until well blended.
Pour half of the batter into prepared brownie pan. Layer with the chocolate bars (which I broke in half, so I could layer evenly.) Pour the remainder of the batter over brownie. Bake for 30 minutes.
Cool at room temperature before cutting, or you can cool and then refrigerate before cutting also.
