SPICY GRILLED SIRLOIN

1 1/2 lbs boneless top sirloin steak, about 1 inch thick
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tsp ground cumin and chili powder
1 clove garlic, minced
Pierce steak with a fork several times on both sides. Mix remaining ingredients in a resealable bag and add beef, turning to coat with marinade. Seal bag and refrigerate, turning occasionally, at least 6 hours but no longer than 24 hours.
Heat coals. Remove beef from marinade; discard marinade. Cover and grill beef 4-6 inches from medium heat for 15-18 minutes for medium doneness, turning once. Remove steak from grill and allow to rest before cutting across the grain into 1/2 inch slices. Serves 6
