PECAN CREAM CHEESE SQUARES

1 pkg yellow cake mix
3 eggs
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 cups chopped pecans
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
3 2/3 cups confectioners sugar

In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, 1 egg and butter. Stir in pecans; mix well. Press into a 13x9 inch baking pan.

In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar and remaining eggs until smooth. Pour over pecan mixture. Bake at 350 for 45-55 minutes or until golden brown.

Cool on wire rack; cut into squares. Store in refrigerator.
