SMOKY SLOPPY JOES

1 lb round steak
2 tsp oil
1 large onion, sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (8 oz) jar taco sauce
1 tsp natural hickory seasoning

4 sandwich rolls, split

In a heavy pot, brown steak in oil. Add onion and garlic; stirring until lightly browned. Stir in taco sauce; heat to a boil. Cover; reduce heat and simmer for 1 1/2 hours until steak is tender. Remove steak from sauce, shred or cut into julienne strips. Return steak to pot and heat through. Spoon mixture onto roll bottoms; replace tops and serve immediately. Makes 4 sandwiches.
