MEMPHIS RUB

Category: Sauces, Marinades, Spices, Glazes and Rubs

1/4 cup paprika
1 tbsp firmly packed dark brown sugar and granulated sugar
2 tsp salt and accent
1 tsp celery salt, dry mustard, garlic powder, onion powder and black pepper
1-3 tsp cayenne pepper, to taste

Combine ingredients in a jar, twist lid on airtight, and shake to mix. Store away from heat and light for up to 6 minuts.

Makes about 1/2 cup; enought for 4-5 racks of rib. Also good on pork shoulder.
