WHITE WINE FRUIT SALAD

2 tbsp sugar
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 1/2 tsp grated lemon rind 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
2 cups honeydew balls or cubes
2 cups sliced fresh peaches
1 cup seedless green grapes

Dissolve sugar in wine, lemon rind and lemon juice. Gently add fruit. Chill 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Drain and serve. Serves 8-10
