GRILLED LEMON JALAPENO CHICKEN

1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
5 garlic cloves, put through a garlic press
2 to 3 fresh jalapenos, stemmed, seeded and minced
1 3-1/2- to 4-lbs chicken, cut up (or equivalent weight of your favorite pieces)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Preheat the grill.

Combine the lemon juice, garlic and chiles in a blender. Blend until smooth.

Rinse the chicken pieces and pat dry. Season with salt and pepper. Place chicken on the grill. Brush liberally with the chile mixture. Cook 25 minutes, then turn chicken pieces, brushing with remaining chile mixture. Cook another 25 minutes until done.

Note: Brush the grill with a little oil to prevent sticking.
