EGGNOG BUNDT CAKE

6 tsp butter, divided
3/4 cup sliced almonds
1 (181/4 oz.) pkg. yellow cake mix
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 1/2 cup commercially prepared eggnog
1 1/2 tsp rum extract
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
Grease a 10 inch Bundt pan with 2 tbsp butter. Press almonds onto the bottom and sides of pan; set aside.
Melt remaining 4 tbsp butter. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cake mix, eggs, eggnog, rum extract, nutmeg and melted butter for 30 seconds until moistened then on medium speed for 2 minutes or until batter is smooth. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake at 350 until a toothpick inserted near the middle comes out clean (40 to 50 minutes). Cool in pan for 15 minutes before removing cake to wire rack.
