PORK SATAY

1/2 lb boneless pork
2 tbsp soy sauce and steak sauce
10 dried apricots
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/2 tsp salt
5 drops hot pepper sauce
Mushroom caps
Combine sauces together in a resealable bag. Cut pork into 3/4 inch cubes and add to bag. Refrigerate several hours, turning occasionally.
Meanwhile, simmer apricots in 3/4 cup water for 5 minutes. Place apricots and liquid in a food processor. Add peanut butter, salt and hot pepper sauce. Process until smooth. Reheat when ready to serve.
Thread pork and mushroom caps on skewers. Brush with soy sauce mixture. Cook over hot coals or under broil 6-8 minutes, turning often. Serve with warmed apricot sauce.
