STEAK AND MUSHROOM MELT SANDWICH

Saute sliced mushrooms and onions in butter or oil until tender. Layer bottom half of French roll with thin slices of rare roast beef, then mushroom mixture and then shredded cheddar cheese. Broil to melt cheese, the cover with top roll.
