CHOCOLATE TOFFEE ICE CREAM DESSERT

2 cups crushed chocolate graham crackers
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened
1 (8-oz) pkg milk chocolate toffee bits
1 cup mini semisweet chocolate morsels
1 (11.75-oz) jar caramel ice cream topping
1 (8-oz) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 (11.75-oz) jar chocolate ice cream topping (optional)
Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease a 13x9-inch baking dish.
In a small bowl, combine cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Bake for 8 minutes; let cool.
Combine softened ice cream, toffee bits, and chocolate morsels. Spread half of ice cream mixture over cooled cracker crusts; freeze for 15 minutes. Place remaining ice cream mixture in freezer until ready to use. Pour caramel ice cream topping over frozen layer; freeze for 15 minutes. Spread whipped topping evenly over caramel layer; freeze for 15 minutes. Spread remaining ice cream mixture evenly over frozen whipped topping; freeze for at least 4 hours.
To serve, cut dessert into squares and drizzle top evenly with chocolate ice cream topping, if desired.
