BACON WRAPPED MEAT LOAF

1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork
1 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 egg
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1 small onion, chopped
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup chopped green or red bell pepper
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp instant beef bouillon
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper and garlic powder
6 slices thin sliced bacon, in needed, cut into halves
Preheat oven to 350. Mix ingredients except bacon. Shape mixture into loaf. Crisscross bacon slices down the length of the loaf and cut ends under the loaf. Place on a rack in a shallow baking pan; cook, uncovered, 1 hour. Let rest a few minutes before slicing.
