RIGATONI WITH SAUSAGE - Easy

1 lb mild Italian sausage, casing removed
2 cups favorite spaghetti sauce
1 small can tomato paste
1 tbsp Italian seasonings
1/4 cup dry red wine or water, more it sauce is to thick as it simmers
1/4 cup sliced pepperoncini
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup pitted ripe black olives, quartered
1/2 cup shredded Asiago cheese
4 cups rigatoni, cooked al dente, drained

While pasta is cooking, cook sausage and break up as it cooks. Drain off grease. Stir in next 6 ingredients and heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add olives, cheese and drained rigatoni; toss to coat. Serve 4
