PACIFIC RUM GLAZED FLANK STEAK

Marinade and Glaze
1 cup prepared teriyaki marinade
1 small onion, chopped
1/3 cup orange juice and honey
1 tbsp chopped fresh rosemary
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 large clove garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp pepper

1 (1 1/2 to 2 lb) flank steak

In a bowl combine the marinade/glaze ingredients and whisk until blended. Reserve 3/4 cup in a small bowl; set aside

Using a sharp knife, lighly score both sides of steak in a crisscross pattern. Add steak to remaining marinade, turning to coat. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 20 minutes, turning once. Remove steak from marinad and discard excess marinade.

Preheat grill to meadium heat and grill 18-20 minutes for medium or until desired doneness, turning once during grilling, basting with reserved marinade.

Pour any remainig marinade in a small saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat.

Meanwhile, place the steak on a cutting board and cut diagonally across the grain into thin slices. Transfer to serving platter and spoon the hot marinade over the slices.
