SAUTEED GARLIC SHRIMP

24 large (16 - 20 count) shrimp
2 tbsp butter
4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
1/2 cup dry white wine
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Juice of 1 medium lemon
2 tbsp fresh chopped parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
Heat a saute an on medium heat until the rim of the pan is hot-to-the-touch. Add the butter. When the butter has completely melted add the shrimp and saute for 2 - 3 minutes. Add the chopped garlic and saute for an additional minute.
Deglaze the pan with the wine and reduce liquid by half. Add the Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and parsley and toss. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Tips: After the shrimp have been sauteed place them in a shallow serving bowl, garnish with fresh herbs and lemon. Provide wooden skewers for guests. Serves 4
