BEEF AND MACARONI STEW - Easy

1 lb ground beef
1 tbsp butter
1/4 cup instant onion flakes
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper and instant minced garlic
3 1/2 cups canned tomatoes, undrained
1 cup uncooked macaroni
1/2 cup diced cheddar cheese

Brown meat in butter. Add next 7 ingredients; mix well and cook, uncovered, for 20 minutes, stir occasionally. Stir in cheese. Serves hot.
