HAM SAN JUAN

1 cup light rum
1 tbsp dry mustard
2 tbsp honey
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1 inch thick slices cooked ham
1/4 cup soft butter
The ham needs to be marinated at least for 24 hours. Marinate ham slices in rum, mustard, honey and cloves. Do not overlap slices. Spread ham with half of the butter and grill 8 minutes (4 inch from coals) basting several times with marinade. Turn and spread with remaining butter and grill 8 minutes longer, basting as before. Serve with any remaining marinade.
