DESPERADO STEW - Crock Pot

1 1/2 lb stew meat
1 tbsp cooking oil
4 medium unpeeled potatoes, cut into 1 inch pieces
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 green bell pepper, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1 (14 1/2 oz) can Mexican style stewed tomatoes
1 (15 or 16 oz) can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
1 cup salsa
2 cloves garlic, minced
6 flour tortillas

In a medium skillet brown beef in oil; drain. Combine beef and remaining ingredients in a crock pot. Cover; cook on low for 8-9 hours or on high for 5-6 hours. Serve with warmed tortillas.
