BRISKET

4 lb beef brisket
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 cup chili sauce
1 can cola
1 pkg dried onion soup mix
2 onions, thinly sliced
2 bay leaves

Preheat oven to 300. Cover brisket with foil without closing it up. Mix together remaining ingredients and pour over brisket.

Top with onions and bay leaves. Close up to a bundle. Bake for 3-3 1/2 hours or until tende4r. Carve across the grain. Serve juices as a sauce.
