TACO BAKE - Easy Crock pot

1 lb ground beef
1 onion, chopped
3/4 cup water
1 (1 1/2 oz) pkg taco seasoning
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
1 (8 oz) pkg shell macaroni, uncooked
1 (4 oz) can mild chopped green chilies
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

In a skillet, brown beef and onion; drain fat. Add next 3 ingredients; mix and simmer for 20 minutes. Transfer to crock pot.

Stir in pasta and green chilies. Cover and cook 6-8 hours on LOW or 3-4 hours on HIGH. Last 30 minutes of cooking, top with cheese, cover and allow cheese to melt. Serves 4
