CHICKEN AND BROCCOLI FETTUCCINE ALFREDO - Easy

12 oz fettuccini, cooked al dente, drained
1 lb chicken tenders
1 1/4 cups chopped onion
2 1/2 cups sliced mushrooms
1 (13 1/2 oz) can chicken broth
1 cup cream cheese, softened
20 oz frozen broccoli florets
1 tsp white pepper
Salt, to taste
While pasta is cooking, saute chicken tender in a skillet coated with cooking spray until cooked through; remove from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, lightly respray and saute onions until soft and transparent, about 5 minutes. Add mushrooms and continue to cook until tender. Stir in broth and cream cheese. Heat over medium-high heat until mixture almost comes to a boil and thickens.
Add chicken, broccoli and seasonings; cook over medium heat until broccoli is tender. Toss with cooked pasta and serve immediately.
