RIO GRANDE COUNTRY RIBS - Crock Pot

2 1/2 to 3 lbs country-style pork ribs
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 (7 oz) can green chili salsa
1/4 cup dry white wine
3 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp prepared mustard
1/2 tsp chili powder
2 tbsp cornstarch
3 tbsp water
1/3 cup sour cream
1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
Combine ribs and onions in the crock pot.  In a medium bowl, combine salsa and next 5 ingredients.  Pour mixture over meat.  Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or until ribs are tender.  Remove ribs from cooker and keep warm.  Turn control to HIGH.  
In a small bowl, dissolve cornstarch in water; stir into drippings in cooker.  Cover and cook on HIGH for 15-20 minutes or until slightly thickened.  Spoon sauce over ribs.  Top each serve with a dollop of sour cream and sprinkle with cilantro.  Serves 5-6
