FRENCH CHICKEN AND RICE - Easy

Prepared rice, enough for 4 servings

1 tbsp oil
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, seasoned with garlic powder, salt and pepper
1 lb sliced mushrooms
2 green onions, sliced
1/4 cup port wine or chicken broth
1 1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tbsp chopped fresh basil

While rice is cooking, heat oil in skillet and brown chicken on both sides. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes, covered. Sever over hot rice. Serves 4
