CHOCO-PEANUT TOPPERS

Cookies
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup butter, softened
1 3/4 cup flour
2 tsp vanilla
Topping
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup butter, softened
Glaze
1/3 cup chocolate chips
1/3 cup confectioners sugar
3-4 tbsp milk
Heat oven to 325. In a large bowl, beat sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Stir in flour and vanilla; mix well. Drop by tspfuls 2 inch apart onto ungreased cooked sheets. Flatten to 1/4 inch thickness with bottom of glass dipped in sugar. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Remove from cookie sheet.
In small bowl, beat topping ingredients until light and fluffy. Spread over warm cookies.
Melt chocolate chips, stirring constantly. Stir in confectioners sugar and enough milk for desired drizzling consistency. Drizzle over cookies. Allow glaze to set before storing cookies. Makes about 3 dozen.
