ORANGE HONEY BARBECUED RIBS

2 lb country style ribs
1 cup chili sauce
1/3 cup onion, chopped
3 1/2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp plus 2 tsp unsalted butter
1 clove garlic, minced
1/8 tsp hot pepper sauce and orange rind, grated
Preheat oven to 350. Place ribs on a broiler pan and cover with foil. Roast 1 hour.
While meat is roasting, combine chili sauce and next 5 ingredients and salt to taste in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer 30 minutes. Stir in orange rind and set aside.
Remove foil from meat and pour off drippings. Brush sauce on ribs and roast uncovered 30 minutes. Brush with sauce again. Roast 20-30 minutes longer or until ribs are very tender. Serve with remaining sauce.
