CHOCOLATE LOVERS COOKIES

2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
1/4 cup sour cream
12 oz chocolate chips
1 cups coarsely chopped nuts

Mix together dry ingredients. Cream butter. Gradually beat in sugars and beat until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Blend in next 3 ingredients. Gradually add dry ingredients, beating until smooth. Stir in chips and nuts. Using a scant 1/4 cup dough onto ungreased baking 2 inch apart. Bake at 375 for 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes 2 dozen large cookies.
