3/4 cup KC Masterpiece Barbecue Sauce
1 pound beef flank or sirloin steak (Chicken is a delicious substitute!)

16 skewers (If using bamboo skewers, soak in water 30 minutes before use.)
3 tablespoons minced shallots or green onions
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 1/2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
4 cloves garlic, pressed
pepper to taste

Cut beef diagonally into thin strips about 1 inch wide. Thread onto 16 skewers, allowing 1-2 ribbons of beef per skewer.

In small bowl combine barbecue sauce, shallots, lemon juice, lemon peel, garlic and pepper. Brush skewed beef generously with sauce mixture. Broil or grill to desired doneness. Serves 4
