GRILLED OR BROILED SIRLOIN & MUSHROOM KEBABS WITH MILD ASIAN SAUCE

2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp fresh lime or lemon juice
3 tbsp teriyaki sauce
2 tbsp minced fresh parsley

2 1/2 lbs sirloin steak cut into 1 1/2 to 2 inch chunks
12 medium button mushrooms, trimmed and cut in half
2 bell peppers, any color but green, cut into 1 inch chunks

8 to 12 bamboo skewers

Mix first 4 ingredients in a small bowl.

Drizzle 3/4 of marinade over meat and vegetables and toss to coat. Alternate meat and vegetables onto skewers with a little space left between each piece. Let rest for about 10 minutes so the marinade can soak in. Put aside remaining marinade in a small freezer bag.

Preheated broiler or onto hot grill. Brush with remaining marinade as they cook. Serve the kebabs over rice, cous cous or buttered noodles. Serves 4-6
