CHERRIES JUBILEE CHEESECAKE BARS- Easy

1 pkg cherry chip cake mix
1/2 cut butter, softened
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1 tub cherry ready-to-spread frosting
3 eggs

Heat oven to 325. Beat cake mix and butter in a bowl until crumbly; reserve 1 cup. Press remaining mixture onto the bottom of an ungreased 13x9 inch baking pan. Beat cream cheese and frosting in a bowl until smooth. Beat eggs in until blended. Pour over crust; sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture. Bake for 45 minutes or until set; cool completely. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours before cutting into bars.
