CHEDDAR BAY CRAB SQUARES

2 cups baking mix
1 3/4 cup finely shredded cheddar cheese
2/3 cup milk
2 tbsp butter, melted and divided
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp parsley flakes, crushed fine
1/3 cup crab meat

Preheat oven to 450. Combine baking mix, 1 cup cheese, milk and half of melted butter in a medium bowl. Mix by hand until well combined. Pat out dough onto circle approximately 8 inch in diameter, with a slight lip around edge, like a pizza crust.

Sprinkle parsley over top of dough. Sprinkle crab over top of dough. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake for 14-25 minutes or until cheese on top begins to slightly brown.

Combine remaining butter and garlic powder. Brush over top as soon as it comes out of the oven. Slice it like a pizza into pieces and serve hot as an appetizer.
