SPICED COOKIES

Category: Cakes from Cake Mixes

1 pkg spice cake mix
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Glaze - Optional
3 cups softened confections sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract

Combine first 3 ingredients and drop by rounded tspfuls 2 inch apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Combine sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle evenly onto cookies. Bake at 350 for 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on pan 1 minute; remove to wire racks and cool completely. Makes 4 1/2 dozen.

Glaze Combine ingredients until smooth. Glaze tops of cookies and allow to set before storing. Note: For Raisin-Spice cookies, add 2/3 cup raisins and 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, optional, to dough.
