*STICKY CHINESE CHICKEN WINGS*

1 cup soy sauce, dry red wine and sugar
4 clove garlic, crushed
4 tsp grated fresh ginger
8 lbs chicken wings, bony wing tips cut off and disjointed, or 6 lbs. chicken drummettes

Spray the inside of the crock with nonstick cooking spray. Mix the soy sauce, red wine, sugar, garlic, and ginger in a heatproof bowl. Heat in the microwave briefly to melt the sugar.

Place the chicken wings in the slow cooker and pour over the soy-wine marinade; toss with a wooden spoon to coat. Cover and cook on HIGH for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Stir gently halfway through cooking with a wooden spoon, bringing the wings on top to the bottom to coat with sauce. Serve hot with lots of napkins. Serves 8
