LADY FINGER CREAM CHEESE CAKE

2 pkg lady fingers
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1 (3 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 pint heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla

Line bottom and sides of a springform pan with split lady fingers. Soften cream cheese; add sugar. Beat cream and fold in with cheese. Add vanilla and beat until smooth. Pour half the mixture over the lady fingers. Add another layer of lady fingers and pour remaining cheese mixture over top. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

NOTE: May add topping of choice before serving. Also makes an attractive presentation with a ribbon matching the color of the topping is tied around the outside of the cake before serving.
