4 lbs baby back ribs
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
3/4 cup ketchup
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup honey
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder

Cut ribs into 2-3 rib portions. In a Dutch oven, place ribs in enough water to cover. Heat to boiling and reduce heat. Cover and cook for 35 minutes; drain.

Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan and heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

On a preheated grill rack, arrange ribs directly over medium coals and grill, uncovered, for 30 minutes, turning often and basting with sauce.
